Hello and welcome to Mrs. Riefel's classroom! It is a pleasure to be your 7th grade science teacher. I am looking forward to an exciting and fun school year. This is year 25 in the Menomonee Falls School District.
This year in science you will learn a variety of concepts including but, not limited to: problem solving, lab safety, experiments, and the study of life sciences. Students will develop strategies and understanding of these concepts by solving problems individually, in groups, and as a whole class. Projects will be assigned and expected to be completed in a professional 7th grade manner.
I plan to update my schoology, textbook online,& power school pages every week so that students and parents are aware of "what's happening" in our classroom. Please check out my schoology & textbook Pages for important information ( important messages, homework, weekly plans, web site links, and due dates) These will be great communication tools that I encourage all students and parents to utilize throughout the year. Open communication between school and home is the key to success for all students. Please don't hesitate to contact me about any questions or concerns you have throughout the year.
I am looking forward to a fun, exciting, and successful new school year!
